Privacy policy: text messages

What we collect

Your mobile number, your language, the time of your request, and each yes or no you gave (link in the call; reminders in the questionnaire), with the wording version you agreed to.

For reminders: the confirmed trial lesson time and whether each reminder was planned, sent, skipped or cancelled.

The delivery status our SMS provider reports for each message (for example sent, delivered or not delivered).

If you reply STOP or START: that this number opted out or back in. Other replies are not stored in our system; our SMS provider receives them as part of handling messages.

The personal link is stored only as a one-way fingerprint, and our system logs never contain your full number, the link or the message text.

Why we use it

To send only the texts you asked for, to show the studio whether they arrived, to respect your STOP, and to connect the questionnaire you send to your phone request so the studio does not handle it twice.

No sharing for marketing

We do not sell your personal information. Mobile numbers, text message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers we use for this

Google: the studio phone line and Abby, the studio's virtual receptionist (an AI assistant) that answers calls and confirms your number.

Twilio: sends the text messages and receives replies such as STOP.

Lovable: hosts the website, the questionnaire and the studio's database, and delivers the studio's e-mails.

We use them only to provide this service; we do not give them your number for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

The personal link works for 24 hours. If no questionnaire is sent with it, the call notes copied into the link are deleted 30 days after it expires; the record of your yes to the text is kept as described below.

An unfinished questionnaire is deleted 30 days after its last change.

A phone request that did not lead to a lesson is deleted 12 months after the last contact with you.

Records of the texts we sent (time, delivery status, last 4 digits of the number) are kept for 13 months.

Your yes to each program and your STOP and START replies are kept as proof: a yes to reminders while reminders are on and for 5 years after you switch them off; a yes to the link and each STOP or START for 5 years. A STOP block itself stays until you reply START, so you are not texted by mistake.

Records of lessons, payments and invoices are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require; this policy does not shorten that.

Deleted data can remain in our hosting provider's database backups for a limited time until they are replaced; that backup period is set by the provider, not by this policy. If the law or an open dispute requires it, we keep the relevant records until it is resolved.

Twilio (texts) and Google (calls and the virtual receptionist) keep their own records under their own retention rules and the studio's account settings; this policy does not set those periods.
